About Me
The Journey to being Moody AF
Hi, I’m Candice. I’ve spent the last 20+ years in operations and project coordination, where I thrive on turning chaos into structure. From managing customer accounts to solving supply chain challenges, I’m at my best when things need to get figured out—quickly and efficiently. I naturally think in systems, always looking for smarter, better ways to make things work. That mindset carries into everything I do, from my career to the ideas and projects I’m constantly building. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three incredible sons and someone who loves to travel and experience new places and perspectives. I’m also finishing my bachelor’s degree in Business—proof that growth never has an expiration date. “Moody AF” isn’t just a name—it’s a mindset. It’s about being real, resourceful, and unapologetically driven to make things better.

The Motivation Behind My Story
I didn’t build my story in perfect conditions—I built it in the middle of real life. Between raising three boys, building a career, and going back to finish my degree, I’ve learned that growth doesn’t come from waiting until things slow down… it comes from deciding to move forward anyway. “Moody AF” is rooted in that reality. It’s about embracing every version of yourself—the driven, the overwhelmed, the ambitious—and using all of it as fuel to create something better.

The Real Ones
I like my people like I like my coffee… strong, a little intense, and worth waking up for. I gravitate toward people who are real, driven, and not afraid to work hard. If you’re about growth, progress, and keeping it real, you’re in the right place.
The
Beginning
Picture it. Birmingham, August 1980. Outside until the streetlights came on. Big wheels clattering down the road. Metal slides too hot to touch. Drinking straight from the hose and dreaming bigger than life itself.
The
Middle
Like so many before me, I graduated high school with the best of (collegiate) intentions. Then life happened.
Somewhere along the way, I got caught up in trying to be an adult - making decisions, figuring things out, and learning a lot of lessons the hard way.
In August 2003, just after my 23rd birthday, I started at American Cast Iron Pipe Company. I thought it was just a job. It turned out to be start of everything.
The
Now
Over 20 years later and I'm still growing personally and professionally.
I've built a career, raised a family, and learned how to show up even when life isn't easy. Now I'm finishing what I started - earning my degree while continuing to push myself forward.
I also make time for what "fills my tank". I love to travel and try to go somewhere new several times a year. Life is meant to be lived, not just managed.
"The Now" me is stronger, smarter and a whole lot more intentional. And I'm not done yet.
